Research depends on trust. The people who take part need to know how their information will be used. The organisations that commission research need to be able to rely on the findings. At Damon Advisors, we hold ourselves to both.
Respect for participants
We explain the purpose of each study and who is conducting it. Taking part is voluntary, and participants can withdraw at any time, subject to any limits explained before the study begins. We take extra care when research involves children or people who may be vulnerable.
Responsible use of information
We collect only the information a study needs and use it for the stated research purposes. We protect it against unauthorised access. We never use research participation to sell products or services to participants.
Findings you can rely on
Our conclusions rest on the evidence gathered and the methods used. We explain how we reached them and what the evidence can and cannot tell you.
Confidentiality
We limit access to information to the people who need it for the work. If a study has limits to confidentiality, we explain them before it begins.
Our standards
Our research follows the ICC/ESOMAR International Code on Market, Opinion and Social Research and Data Analytics (2025) and Kenya’s Data Protection Act, 2019. Before each study, participants receive information explaining how their data will be collected, used and protected.
